Executive editor
Brisbane

Chris Jones is the executive editor of The Courier-Mail and The Sunday Mail and a passionate advocate of change. Despite the obvious commercial challenges, he believes there has never been a more exciting time to work in newspapers. Not only are the audiences bigger than ever, but journalists are being challenged every day to engage their readers as never before. Over almost 19 years with News Corp, Chris has been deputy editor of both titles, the managing editor of digital media at News Queensland, editor of the daily commuter title mX, and a state and federal political reporter.
